Our fully serviced guesthouse accommodation is 1st class with hotel style rooms boasting Queen size beds with inner spring mattress, cable TV, Air conditioning, fridge, WiFi, wardrobe and separate ensuite with shower, toilet and hot water in our budget rooms..


For the less budget conscious we have rooms with all the above and the added attraction of a bath..

For the family, we also have two large suites each with two rooms capable of accommodating Mum, Dad and up to 4 kids..

Room service is also available including laundry service..

Our impressive 14.5m long bar is stocked with the largest selection of beers and spirits in any bar in Cambodia.. We have 3 different draught beers on tap and our fridges are stocked with an extensive range of imported Australian beers in cans and stubbies including, VB, Carlton Cold and James Boag just to name a few.. For the connoisseur we also carry beer the likes of Corona and we have Strongbow cider as well as a small range of Aussie wines such as Kangaroo Ridge. .





The bar is also equipped with a large 4m screen and we have over 350 channels available including live sports coverage for the sports fanatics and we have a pool table and a football table for your enjoyment..

We are conveniently located right in town approx 100 metres from the existing bus station on Street 109 Sihanoukville, just look for the Aussie kangaroo..

For your convenience we have motor bikes for hire and the added advantage of access to local Motodups and Tuk Tuks..

If you choose to go to the beaches it will take just 5 minutes by any mode of transport you choose to reach any of the magnificent beaches on offer North or South of town. The local markets are an easy 10 minute stroll from where we are located on Street 109..

For those of you looking for something different we also carry board and card games for you or the kids, just ask at reception..

Directions
By plane .
The small Sihanoukville Airport (IATA: KOS | ICAO: VDSV) is located 17km to the east of town, on the edge of Ream National Park. However, the airport's only scheduled service, between Siem Reap and Sihanoukville on PMT Air, has been suspended after a fatal crash in June 2007. The runway is very slowly being extended and international flights may be offered in by the end of 2008. .

By bus .
From Phnom Penh: National route 4 from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville is one of Cambodia's best roads. There are regular bus services with Sorya and GST from Phnom Penh (Central Market) which takes about 4 hours at a cost of 16000 Riel, or US$4.50 through a guesthouse. The first bus leaves at 7:15 AM, the last one at 2:30 PM. All buses arrive and depart from the bus station downntown.It's worth reserving the day before or at least a few hours in advance to be sure of a seat. Mekong Express also runs two buses a day for US$6,.
From Koh Kong / Hat Lek (border crossing with Thailand):. for the most part this road is unsealed and the condition depends on the weather and frequency/scale of maintenance. "Local" and "Tourist" minibuses service this route; they are always jam-packed, and the trip can be uncomfortable. "Local" service price depends on how much space you want (a whole seat, half a seat, or a space on the roof); foreigners can expect to pay around US$6-8. Rith Mony bus co. and Virak Buntham Express operate a daily minibus service. The journey involves four ferry crossings; the scenery is mixed, but does offer some moderately spectacular views at the Koh Kong end..

By taxi .
A chartered taxi from Phnom Penh's Central Market can do the trip in less than three hours and will cost anywhere from US$25-40, depending on the gas price of the day and how beat up the vehicle is. You can reduce the price by sharing seats, but be warned that Khmers will squeeze in as many six people into the car, so most people will need to buy two seats for comfort. .

By boat .
From Koh Kong / Hat Lek (border crossing with Thailand): weather permitting, a daily fast ferry departs from Koh Kong for Sihanoukville at 08:00 and from Sihanoukville for Koh Kong at 9.30. The journey usually takes about 4-4.5 hours and stops once to pick up/drop off supplies at an outlying island; tickets for foreigners cost US$20 (or 700 baht). Minibuses and moto-taxis shuttle passengers from the ferry to the border crossing; a moto-taxi should cost 50 baht. On the Thai side, minibuses run to Trat(110 baht) where it is possible to connect with the Thai public bus system, direct to Laem Ngop (for ferries to Ko Chang), and direct to Bangkok, Pattaya etc. .

By train
There are no longer any passenger services on the Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville railway line. It may be possible to hitch a ride with the freight train security guards - enquire locally for further information.

Near By Attractions
Boker Mountain - Although it can be seen in one day it would be better to see this in a combination with a visit to Kampot City. Borkor is an abandoned French hill station which at its peak in 1920 with gambling, hotel and even a church. .A great view of the south coast can been seen from here..



Fishing Port & Village - Known as Kampong Pier Nup Lok, it is 2 km north of the main shipping port on Hun Sen Beach Drive. Take your camera as it is a array of activity and colors..

Golden Lions Statue - The most prominent land mark in town. It is in the middle of the traffic circle between Ochheuteal and Sokha Beaches. Built in 1996. .

Independence Square - Built in 1985 to honor the war dead and the independence of Cambodia. Consists of a monument and an open meeting hall..

Koh Kong Island - Worth a look with its fishing village, casino, waterfront and nightlife. Ferries daily. From what we hear this island has future possibilities..



Port Of Sihanoukville - Built from 1955 to 1960. 11 to 13 meters deep in most areas. The old pier reaches out 290 meters while the northern one 350 meters and over 3000 meters of break water. .








Preah Sihanoukville Ream National Park - Now open but facilities are not yet developed in full. Might be better to arrange a guided tour with either the Ministry of Environment Tel# 23-218370 in Phnom Penh or the park office in Ream. It is 18 km north of Sihanoukville. 500 meters off of Rt 4 on Airport Road. Across from the Sihanoukville airport entrance. .Contains 21,000 hectares of coastal area. Sandy beaches, 2 islands, off shore coral reefs, mangrove forests, assorted water and jungle birds.. Animals including rhesus monkeys and fresh water dolphins can all be seen..




Sihanoukville Mountain - A amazing view from this 132 meter high peak. About 2 1/2 km north on Route 4 till you come to the brewery which you will then take a right turn on the road which goes up the hill. 200 meters past Wat Leu to the rocks. Best place to view the sunset. .

St. Michael's Church - Built in 1960 and used until 1975. Then it was a prison until 1979 when it was used for storage. It has now been reopened since 1993..

Victory Monument - To symbolize the friendship between Cambodia and Viet Nam it was built in 1985..




Wat Chotynieng - Also known as Wat Lou it is located on Sihanoukville Mountain and overlooks the town. .The life of Buddha is depicted on the interior panels. Portraits of the founder Prince Junot is located in the rear and in front is a statue of Ok Om the Buddhist Built in 1996 leader of this area. .






Water Falls of Kbai Chhay - Most would say it is better than the others falls in Kampot. It is a series of falls each being 1 to 8 meters high.. Best during the wet season and packed on the weekends with picnickers. .Drive on Hun Sen Beach Drive north from town until you are 2 km past the Caltex Oil Depot. .Then turn right on a dirt road for about 3 1/2 km. Might be better to be on motorbikes or a four wheel drive. .
