Property Description
We have a unique B&B /Pig Farm and working smallholding here in Bulgaria.
We grow organic fruit and vegetables and rear our own pigs who may get a little muddy from time to time but contary to popular belief.........are very smart and clean.
However they are not allowed in the house!
You are allowed to stay for one or two nights or several weeks in one of our luxurious guest rooms and enjoy a slap up home grown, home cooked English Breakfast before venturing out and about to visit the many places of historic and archaeological interest around the Haskovo, Kardjali regions.
We are close to Kardjali (25kms) Haskovo (25kms) Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Asenovgrad.
Some of the historical sites you can visit during your stay at our B&B mini pig farm include: Perperikon, Orpheus Tomb at Tatul, Castle Ustra,
Lake Thrakia is situated right on the edge of our village and is teeming with an abundant variety of fish.
The surrounding hills, which offer some of the most stunning scenery in the world, are full of wildlife and birds. Some species you may not have seen in your own country for many years.
This area of the Rhodopes is ideal for hiking and hill walking suitable for the most experienced of hikers and those who wish to pace themselves to a more gentle walk.
Our wonderful house is central to many newly discovered archaeological sites and natural phenomenon.
Your visits to Kardjali and Haskovo both offer an eclectic selection of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, markets, modern outlets and without exception, some of the friendliest welcoming people in the world.
In fact this region of Bulgaria has something to offer everyone with a sense of adventure and an interest in other cultures.
You choose how you want to spend your time with us!
Perhaps you just want to relax, go fishing, shopping, or push yourself to the limits on a challenging hike.
Whatever you choose we will always be on hand to offer help and guidance and at the end of each day you can return to the TREE PIGS FARM' and join us for exceptional home cooked food prepared using organically grown produce from our own garden.........and perhaps a little wine from our various selections!
