We Serve A Full Hot Breakfast Every Morning. Enjoy a beautiful fresh fruit tray, baked muffins, specialty cakes and breads, juices, coffee or tea. A varied hot breakfast of our famous blueberry pancakes, southwestern egg-rollups, thick cinnamon French toast, and special peach (from our orchard) French toast, or delicious quiche, along with sausage, ham or bacon, is served in the Inn every day. Take pleasure in spectacular sunsets over Lake Michigan. A seven-block walk or a three-minute bicycle ride, we have bikes, will take you to the beach. At Rivers Edge the most difficult decision you will have to make is how to enjoy your day. Over 2 miles of forest walking trails are right outside your door. Imagine beaches that stretch for miles with clear blue waters, sand dunes that are like small mountains, lakes and rivers for boating, canoeing, and fishing. Bicycles are available and marked bike trails meander throughout the countryside past local wineries, restaurants, antique, art galleries, specialty shops, and scenic lakeshore. Spend the day hiking, canoeing, golfing, horseback riding, fishing, boating or apple picking. Many local festivals are scheduled throughout the year. Take a short ride to the outlet malls, 20 minutes away. River’s Edge furnishings are hand crafted by Heartwood Rustic Furnishings, a local group of artists, from local countryside wood. Each room portrays a different theme honoring a specific tree. There are nine different trees represented in suites throughout the lodge. For instance, there is the Birch Room, the Silver Maple Room, and the American Hornbeam Room. Each room is unique and comfortable as five of the rooms have a separate porch area, while other rooms have cathedral ceilings. River’s Edge B&B is AAA, Mobil, ABBA, and Lake-to-Lake B&B Assoc. inspected and approved.
Beautiful Cottages, nestled in the orchard, are rented by the day (2 day minimum), week or month. Each cottage is 1200 sq-ft. sleeps 6 maximum, with 3 bedrooms (2 queen and 1 twin), 2 full baths (1 with shower and whirlpool tub), central heat and air, full kitchen with gas stove-refrigerator-microwave-icemaker-dishwasher, dinning area, fireplace, washer & dryer, sky-lights, deck, grill and picnic. Creek Side Cottage overlooks a small creek and Deer Path Cottage has local deer almost every morning and evening right outside the door. Cottages are not part of the B&B and breakfast is not included.

Located in the far South-West corner of Michigan.
From Interstate I94; Exit # 6 in Michigan and proceed West on Townline to the flashing light. Turn left on Red Arrow Highway 1/2 mile to the 1st street (Community Hall Road). Turn left on Community Hall road and cross the railroad tracks. We are the 3rd driveway on the right.
