Property Description May 2009
I started coming here 9 years ago and stayed in a large hotel next door to where I have built mine. I fell in love with the area and its people immediately but felt trapped in the Hotel complex. I wanted to be part of India and not behind closed doors and high walls. I stayed in other hotels in the village during the next few years until in 2004 I bought some land off Ambi, my friend and co-director. I then set about building my ideal hotel with luxurious rooms but without the restrictions of a normal hotel so that guests could feel part of the village and really experience India. Please visit our website www.kadaltheerambeachresort.co.uk and you will see why I and so many of our guests describe it as paradise.
