WE ARE VERY EASY TO ACCESS by any means of public transport: Western railway station (Nyugati pályaudvar) is 5 minutes, Eastern railway station (Keleti pályaudvar) is 15 minutes, Oktogon metro station is one minute away.

Rooms:

1. Double room
We offer a beautiful, home-designed colourful double-room with a TV set. Mineral water, fruit juice, snacks, fresh fruits are included.

The room is also suitable for small groups of 3 or 4 since we have a loft with a bed and a matress.

2. 8-bed dorm (yellow room)
The dorm has a beautiful, individually designed loft. There is a TV set and DVD player in the dorm. WE RECOMMEND OUR 8-BED DORM FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE LESS BOTHERED BY TALK. The room is less suitable to book as a private room.
3. 4-bed room (brown room)
It more like a private room for small groups, but individuals can also take this peaceful, quite and big room. It opens from the 8-bed dorm.
4. 5-bed room (green room)
Relaxed, huge room with heaps of space with a separate entrance.

5. There is a unique, homy and comfy common room for socialising and internet use.

All the rooms are equipped with furniture designed and redesigned by our staff!

There are three bathrooms as well in the hostel to decrease the morming and evening 'rush hour'. We also offer

The hostel is in the middle of all the hot spots, popular sights, nightlife spots, shops, restaurants, markets, cafés, clubs, theatres and cinemas. Wherever you want to go in the city, it is within a stone-throw. In the neighbourhood you will find ATM machines, currency exchange, post office, pharmacy, pubs, night clubs, movies, restaurants and shops of all sorts.

We are extremely easy to access from all directions.

Train

1. Nyugati pályaudvar (Nyugati Railway Station)

If you reach Nyugati pályaudvar, hope on tram No 4 or 6 and go one stop or simply take a 5 minute walk in Teréz körút. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKOTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. We have a sign saying 'Home Made Hostel' on the facade of the building. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk upstairs to the first floor and then turn right.

Travel fare: you need to buy one section ticket which costs 130 HUF (0.50 EUR).
Duration of journey to the hostel: 5 minutes.

2. Keleti pályaudvar (Keleti Railway Station)

There are two options to approach us.

Option 1:

- Take metro 2 (M2, red line) and go to Deak tér. Change for M1 and go three stops and get off at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKOTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. We have a sign saying 'Home Made Hostel' on the facade of the building. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk upstairs to the first floor and then turn right.

Travel fare: you need to buy two section tickets for 260 HUF (1.10 EUR).
Duration of journey to the hostel: 15-20 minutes

Option 2:

- Take M2 to Blaha Lujza tér (one stop). When you walk out of the subway, look for direction 'Margit híd'. Take tram 4 or 6. Go three stops towards the direction of 'Margit híd'. The third stop is Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKOTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. 3. Déli pályaudvar (Déli Railway Station)

- Take M2 to Deak square. Then change for M1 and go three stops towards the direction of Mexikói út. Get off at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKOTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. Duration of journey to the hostel: 20-25 minutes

Air

Ferihegyi repülőtér (Ferihegy Airport - Terminal 1 and 2):

Option 1: public transportation:

- Take the bus no 200 in front of the the airport gate and get off at the terminal (Kõbánya-Kispest, a building complex with a futuristic design).
- Take M3 and go to Deák tér, where the three metro lines intersect.
- Change for M1 and travel three stops towards the direction of Mexikói út: now you are at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKOTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22. We have a sign saying 'Home Made Hostel' on the facade of the building. Walk into the court yard through the entrance gate, walk upstairs to the first floor and then turn right.

Travel fare: you need to buy a bus ticket (at the driver's) for 200 HUF (0.70 EUR)+ two section tickets at Kőbánya-Kispest for 260 HUF (1.10 EUR): Important notice: make sure that when you have come out of the airport, you buy your ticket either from a machine or on the bus before you board. If you buy your ticket when boarding the bus, try to have some change in advance because the driver may not be able to refund you. If you do not buy a ticket and get caught, the fine you have to buy on the spot is about 5.000 HUF (18 EUR). Make sure you do not pay more for a fine.
Duration: 60-75 minutes

Option 2: Taxi

You can find various taxi companies in front of the arrival hall.

Travel fare: fares range between 3,900 HUF and 4,200 HUF (15-16 EUR). If you want a taxi to be arranged for you, please let us know two days in advance.
Duration of journey: 30-45 minutes.

Option 3: Airport Shuttle Bus

Once you have gone through the customs, look for ‘Airport Minibus’ signs. Sign up for the traveller list. You need to pay at the customer desk.

Travel fare: 2300 HUF (9 EUR). If you want a shuttle bus to be arranged for you, please let us know two days in advance.
Duration of journey: 30-45 minutes.
Coach

Népligeti Nemzetközi Buszállomás (Népliget International Coach Station)

International coaches arrive at the Népliget Buszállomás. All the best, take M3 and travel towards the direction of ’Újpest Városközpont’. Get off at Deák tér. Change for M1 and go three stops towards the direction of Mexikói út and get off at Oktogon. WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED OKOTOGON, LOOK FOR BURGER KING. WE ARE 50 METRES FROM BURGER KING DOWN THE MAIN ROAD (TEREZ KORUT), BETWEEN 'MARATON' SPORTSWEAR STORE AND 'MILLENIUM' BOOKSHOP. LOOK FOR NUMBER 22.
