Casa Vitae is a hotel, which has got 8 fully renovated luxury suites. They maintain the Venetian style combined with the traditional Cretan architecture. At the same time, it is fully equipped to provide the visitor with an ambient environment that combines the romance of the Venetian era, the picturesqueness of Crete along with the comforts of our modern times.

The suites have got the following comforts: Jacuzzi-Bath, WC, A/C, Sat TV, Refrigerator -Mini Bar, Safe, Sitting area, Balcony.

It is one of the very few hotels in the old town, which have got a large patio where guests can taste traditional Cretan products, while relaxing in the sun, along with the magnificent mountain view.

To get to Casa Vitae Luxury, you can use the following transportation options:

By airplane:
There are many domestic flights from Athens to either Iraklion or Chania airport; Also, there are direct flights to Heraklion or Chania Airport from most overseas airports. Those operate only between April to October.

Arrival at Iraklion airport: From the airport to the bus station. The most convenient way to go to the bus station is to take a taxi (taxi fare about 6-7€). From Iraklion to Rethymnon it takes about 1h 30min by bus (75km; the bus fare is about 7-9€ per person). Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to Rethymnon. This is about 1h drive (taxi fare is about 70-90€).

Arrival at Chania airport: The airport is far from the city between Rethymnon and Chania (taxi fare about 16€ from Chania airport to the bus station in the city of Chania). From Chania to Rethymnon it takes about 1h 15min by bus (60km; the bus fare is about 7-9€ per person). Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to Rethymnon. This is about 50min by taxi (taxi fare is about 70-90€).

It may be more convenient (especially if the arrival is late at night) to rent a car from the airport (about 50€ per day, or cheaper if you rent the car from abroad). Yet, taxis are available at both airports all through the night.

If you fly to Athens, you can go to the Piraeus harbour and travel by boat to Rethymnon.
