The Bentley Inn is an 1886 Victorian Mansion located in the historic & picturesque seaside town of Bay Head (just 60 miles from NYC & Philadelphia), New Jersey. Many call it the “Hamptons of the Jersey Shore. We are just 3 houses from the ocean and feature 19 guest rooms with TV/VCR, A/C, full-serve breakfast with 5 entrees, private off-street parking, complete beach gear, bicycles, wrap-around covered porch, free wireless internet access, large living room, dining room and sunlit solarium. Slip back to another time and relax on the 1st and 2nd floor covered porches with ocean & bay breezes. Bay Head and surrounding areas offer hundreds of specialty stores, antique shops, auction houses, galleries & restaurants. All manner of water sports are available, plus biking and birding. We even provide rainy day and off season fun. We can accommodate special events (up to 45 people), small weddings, business meetings, family reunions, etc.

Directions
From New York, Northern New Jersey and points North:
Take the NJ Garden State Parkway South to exit 98. Take Route 34 South to Route 35 South. Follow signs to Point Pleasant and Bay Head. After you cross the railroad tracks in Point Pleasant, we are on the right corner of the 5th traffic light. (Bay Head is 6 miles from the NJ Garden State Parkway exit 98).

Train Service from Manhattan’s Penn Station:
Take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train to Bay Head. A weekend express service is available during the summer. Consult NJ Transit 800-648-0215 (www.njtransit.com) for details. The Bentley Inn is 1 mile from the train station. (Briggs Taxi: 732-892-0465) Walk: take Osborne Ave. East, turn right on Route 35 South, proceed 9 blocks to The Bentley Inn

From Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, PA or Phillipsburg, NJ:
Take Route 22, I-78 east and I-287 South to the Garden State Parkway South. Get off at exit 98. Follow signs to Point Pleasant and Bay Head. After you cross the railroad tracks in Point Pleasant, we are on the right corner of the 5th traffic light. (Bay Head is 6 miles from the NJ Garden State Parkway exit 98).

From Philadelphia and points West and South:
Take the NJ Turnpike North to exit 7A and Highway 195 East. Take exit 35A (Brielle) Take Route 34 South to Route 35 South. Follow signs to Point Pleasant and Bay Head. After you cross the railroad tracks in Point Pleasant, we are on the right corner of the 5th traffic light. (Bay Head is 6 miles from the NJ Garden State Parkway exit 98).

From Garden State Parkway North:
Take exit 90, make right onto Chambers Bridge Rd., turn left on Route 70 East, bear right on Route 88 East to Route 35 South. After you cross the railroad tracks in Point Pleasant, we are on the right corner of the 5th traffic light.

From Route 35 North:
After Route 35 narrows down to 2 lanes, Johnson Ave. is the 4th light. We are the 3rd light from the Mantoloking Bridge (Herbert St.)
