Falmouth is really well situated for exploring this region of Cornwall and is also well known for its maritime history and is a very popular area for boating and yachting. The twin castles of Falmouth and St Mawes stand proud at the entrance to the Carrick Roads that are well worth a visit. There are many interesting walks in the surrounding areas and in fact the coastal path passes through Falmouth, all within one to two miles of the hotel.
