1. The Wellington is more of a hostel than a hotel (and since it is an ex and unmodified student hall of residence that is really what it is). The rooms are tired and basic. Breakfast is reminiscent of being in a boarding school ! You might not find anywhere cheaper in central London, but if you're coming from overseas you need to know that the price you pay here would get you a much better hotel in Barcelona, Paris, Venice,...
